Bermocoll® EBS 451 FQ is used in latex paints for thickening and stabilizing effects, particularly when high storage viscosity combined with low application viscosity is required. Normal dosage is 0.2 - 0.7 % calculated on the total paint weight. Bermocoll® EBS 451 FQ is easily dispersed in cold water of pH 7 or less. Bermocoll® EBS 451 FQ can form lumps when added to an alkaline liquid.
